Forest Sprite

Step into the enchanted world of Leaf Sprites, where mystical beings dwell. They live in Alaska among earth’s treasures. These elusive creatures master the art of camouflage, seamlessly blending into the dirt and foliage to evade human sight. But for those with keen eyes, glimpses of their whimsical existence reveal a delightful secret.

Each sprite is a testament to individuality, with unique personalities as diverse as the Alaskan landscape itself. From mischievous tricksters to gentle caretakers, these enchanting beings captivate with their charm and grace. 

But it's not just their ethereal allure that sets them apart. In addition to their obsidian eyes, these magical creatures are also avid collectors and fashionistas, adorning themselves with found treasures from both trash and nature. A discarded bottle cap becomes a glittering crown, while a piece of twine makes a great scarf, showcasing their creativity and resourcefulness.

And let's not forget their companions. Some sprites, are known to keep pets, such tiny snails. These miniature friendships add another layer of enchantment to their already fascinating world.

Forest sprites are known for their docile nature and ability to blend seamlessly into their surroundings. With their gentle disposition, forest sprites may not flee at the sight of humans. Some believe that forest sprites are attuned to the intentions of those around them. When capturing a forest sprite, it's essential to treat it with respect and kindness. Handle it gently and avoid causing any stress or harm.

This Sprite sports a pinecone hat and a jute twine scarf. If they are nearby, you might catch a whiff of orange, clove, cinnamon, eucalyptus, and rosemary.

This is a unique art piece made by me. They are extremely fragile, but can be easily handled. 

I use air dry clay, birch sticks, acrylic, leaf litter such as birch and poplar, reindeer lichen, maple seeds for wings, obsidian for eyes, as well as any accessories. I use essential oil to scent them.
