Ptarmigan Feathers - for Hermit Crabs

This ptarmigan was hunted by the kiddo, and we ate the rest of the bird. Ptarmagins are often called snow chickens, and they turn white during the winter from their usual brown. This ptarmigan was mid change. 

There is some protein attached tonthe feathers. These are thoroughly dehydrated 

This can be placed in a food dish, or around the habitat.
