Hospital Package - Full Restore for 18in Dolls

This package includes:

• Surface cleaning of vinyl

• Hair detangling and styling

• Basic inspection and touch ups

• Full restringing of limbs

• A handmade outfit of my choosing by Little ImpPerfections

This option focuses on refreshing the doll back to its former style. 

This is technically a full restore.

Her hair will be washed with water and my favorite shampoo / conditioner for wigs. Her body and face protected, her wig remains on her body, and will be thoughly washed and dried.  

I disassemble the doll, and assess the quality of stuffing. If the stuffing needs replaced, I will be using polyfil. 

I remove all tension cups, by cutting the original elastic. 

I clean the limb vinyl using rubbing alcohol and a magic eraser. 

On the face, I use water and a microfiber cloth to protect the paint, unless stronger tools are needed.

If the doll has an ink mark, it will need to be removed over time. If I find such a mark, I will contact you and discuss if you'd like to address it, or get your doll back otherwise restored. 

The ink removal process is found in the "Additional Treatments" section of the hospital page. 

I use 5mm elastic cord, and copper crimps.

I choose to use hot water and not a heat gun for this step, but no water touches the limbs. 

I restring the doll ALMOST as tight as possible. If youd like more flexible, contact me.  

I can, at this point, touch up paint.

I will always ensure I have explicit permission to use any kind of coloring. 

I will detangle hair, using a wire bristled brush and metal pick. I use flat iron heat treatments, never boiling water unless requested. 

Hair can be made into curls, straight, or a requested hair style.

• This listing is for restoration services; the doll must be shipped to me after purchase

• Shipping cost is covered by you

• Some severe damage may require discussion before work begins 

Shipping of any doll starts at $12 each way, for a minimum possible shipping total of $24. 

I will be emailing you a prepaid label that you can print and tape to your box, and drop off at a post office.

You need to be able to print the shipping label. If you do not acess to a printer, we have the option of refunding the shipping cost for the way to me, so that you are able to purchase a label at your post office.

If you need to take this route, I cannot guarantee post office prices.

The label that I send you will be insured appropriately.

However. we understand some items are priceless, and the loss of them through shipping would be devastating. 

I am happy to say that we have never had any toy get lost in transit, and not make its way back home. We are fully confident your friend will be safe.
